- StudioLive Fat Channel processing enhances your inputs
- Command-center functions offer mixer-style convenience
- High-quality pres and converters meet high-speed USB 3.0
Audiophile-grade digital converters, ultra-low jitter clocking, and recallable preamps add up to a superior recording and listening experience. The Studio 192 operates at up to 192 kHz for ultra-high-definition mixing and recording. High-quality Burr-Brown converters on every input and output provide 118 dB of dynamic range to capture complex musical harmonics smoothly and naturally with no audible distortion. And our recallable XMAX microphone preamps deliver incredibly high headroom, deep lows, smooth highs, and a rich overall sound so you’ll hear every breath, transient, and detail in your recordings.
The Studio 192 brings PreSonus's acclaimed StudioLive Fat Channel DSP to a dedicated recording platform, making it extremely easy to record well-polished sound, without extra gear or added latency. Thanks to Fat Channel processing, each of the Studio 192's input channels offers you a 3-band semi-parametric EQ plus dynamics, including gating, compression, expansion, and limiting. On top of that, the Studio 192 features DSP routing, giving you the option of zero-latency monitoring whenever you need it.Command-center functions offer mixer-style convenience
Fat Channel processing isn't the only thing the Studio 192 borrows from the StudioLive series. If you're looking for an audio interface that offers you a more mixing-console-style workflow, then you'll love the Studio 192's command center functions. For starters, there's a talkback mic onboard that you can rout to any mix, making it easy to communicate with artists via their headphone monitors. Speaking of headphones, the Studio 192 comes equipped with a pair of stereo headphone amplifiers, which make monitoring easy. Top it off with speaker switching plus Dim and Mono options, and the Studio 192 is the perfect centerpiece for any modest studio.
Expandable when you need more I/O.
The Studio 192 has 18 digital inputs and outputs, allowing you to add more analog I/O when you need it. The DigiMax DP88 preamp/converter was designed to seamlessly extend the analog I/O on the Studio 192 with eight digitally-controlled XMAX preamps, ADAT I/O support up to 96 kHz, direct analog inputs, DAC outputs, and word clock I/O. Its mic preamps are fully remote-controllable from UC Surface, Studio One, and Studio One Remote when connected via ADAT Lightpipe to the Studio 192 so that they naturally extend your analog inputs both sonically and functionally.
